Every rule that's ever been adopted at this web site has come as the result of the abusive behavior of some poster or another.

Elijah Ram Ariel was personally responsible for the enactment of registered-only posting, the ban on oversized and colored fonts, the ban on the repetitious posting of photographs and graphics, the limit on posting to eight per day, and no doubt some other rules that I've forgotten.

For several years, I've argued that each poster here...

Absolute freedom - new category?

Just an idea - is it possible not to ban all those people, just limit them (if you feel so) to a certain part of forum called "Absolute freedom" - a section without any kind of censorship?
There exists "The shift below" but somehow it doesn't serve this function well enough. I observe that absolute banning of people narrows ways of expression and confrontation - why should not there be an absolute battlefiled - or playground where someone like Lujan and Greg...
